Project Overview

Understanding the Project

The Goal

Develop and implement a dedicated digital platform for the 'Sociales' section of El Diario de Yucatan, allowing editorial teams to publish event coverage, photo galleries, and society-related content in a structured and visually appealing format.

The Challenge

Building a scalable content structure capable of handling frequent publications, image-heavy galleries, and categorized editorial sections while maintaining performance and usability. The platform also required an administrative backend to allow newsroom staff to manage content efficiently.

My Role

I worked as a full-stack web developer, responsible for implementing both frontend and backend functionality, content management workflows, and database integration.
